Case study

Water intake system for Hinkley Point C

William Cook was approached by Ovivo to provide castings for the cooling water intake screening system for Hinkley Point C, the first nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years. The manufacturing design was created using solidification software in line with most stringent quality standards, ensuring compliance at every stage. The castings are part of a larger filtration development built over 3km offshore.
